Its a good app if u have it close to the book. U can then see the book in the dark fine and also see what ur doing!

Its perfect on my iPod because in the mornings when Im on my bus I can read without bothering people. I have no complaits besides trying to add different colors

Toggles the screen between white and black with a touch of the screen. Would work ok as a book light, but I use it for the late night trips to the kitchen for water. Provides enough light to see where Im going, without disturbing my spouse.
